Manage your subscription and plan usage

The Subscription section in Settings shows your plan and how much of it you're using. A short usage summary also sits in the side menu on every page. Click it to jump to Settings.

Steps

1. Go to Settings and find Subscription, or click the usage summary in the side menu.
2. Read your plan line. It shows your plan, who pays for it, and when it renews. During the free trial, it shows when the trial ends.
3. Check your usage. The meters show People in this organization, Automatic bank connections, and People on payroll, with how many are left. Once you subscribe, you'll also see Organizations covered, how many of your organizations the plan covers.
4. To subscribe, click Subscribe · from $15/month. Subscribe on agilegnosis.com using the same email you sign in with.
5. Come back and click I've subscribed, check again. Your books unlock as soon as the payment is matched.
6. To upgrade, click Upgrade to, followed by the next plan's name, then I've upgraded, check again when you're done.

Good to know

• Plans: Starter is $15 a month, Standard is $39 a month (adds payroll), and Plus is $79 a month (covers 3 organizations). Billing yearly gives you two months free. Billing is handled by Gnosis Concepts Inc. through Stripe.
• Limits per plan:
  • Starter: 1 organization, 2 people, 2 automatic bank connections, no payroll.
  • Standard: 1 organization, 5 people, 5 automatic bank connections, and payroll for up to 10 people.
  • Plus: 3 organizations, 15 people, 15 automatic bank connections, and payroll for up to 50 people.
• Statement imports are unlimited on every plan.
• Plans also include a monthly number of receipts read by AI (Starter 50, Standard 200, Plus 500). It resets each month and shows in the usage summary in the side menu.
• Free trial: 7 days, with everything included and Standard plan limits. No card needed.
• A warning appears at the top of the page when you've used 80% of an allowance, or all of it. Everything keeps working; you just can't add more of that until you upgrade or free one up. Click Dismiss to hide it for now.
• Paid with a different email? If the subscription was paid with an address nobody signs in with here (the church office, a treasurer's or a personal email), click Paid with a different email? under Subscription, enter that address and click Email a code. Enter the 6-digit code sent to that address and click Confirm. The books unlock, and you can use Manage billing for that subscription. The code works for 30 minutes. Click Remove next to an address to stop it counting.
• Read-only books: If the trial ends or there's no active subscription, the books become read-only. You can still view, print, and export everything.
• Manage billing: the person who pays clicks Manage billing under Subscription to change the card, switch plans, see invoices, or cancel on Stripe's secure page. Canceling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. Other owners see who pays. You can also email info@agilegnosis.com and we'll help.
• Failed payment: Stripe retries a failed charge, and the books stay open for 3 days. After that they're read-only until the card is updated: click Update card, then I've updated it, check again. You don't need to subscribe again.
• Only owners can subscribe or upgrade. Bookkeepers see which owner to ask.
• Charter subscribers: If you subscribed before January 1, 2027, and your subscription stays active, the Subscription section shows Charter subscriber and explains what it includes.
